Instrument cluster configuration not implemented
Detection condition
•  Parking assist unit received a signal which indicates the instrument cluster configuration is not performed with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).

Note
•  To correctly write the configuration data sent from the instrument cluster to the parking assist unit to the parking assist unit, 30 s or more need to have elapsed since the ignition was switched ON (engine off or on).
•  Instrument cluster configuration is not completed.
•  Parking assist unit malfunction

VERIFY OTHER PARKING ASSIST UNIT DTCs
•  Clear the DTC for the parking assist unit using the M-MDS.
•  Retrieve the parking assist unit DTCs using the M-MDS.
•  Is DTC U3000:49 displayed?
Yes
Replace the parking assist unit, then go to the Step 4.
(See PARKING ASSIST UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY PARKING ASSIST UNIT DTCs AGAIN
•  Clear the DTC for the parking assist unit using the M-MDS.
•  Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 30 s or more.
•  Retrieve the parking assist unit DTCs using the M-MDS.
•  Is the same DTC displayed?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Go to Step 5.

RESET CONFIGURATION DATA FROM INSTRUMENT CLUSTER TO PARKING ASSIST UNIT
•  Using the M-MDS, perform the instrument cluster configuration (using As-Built data).
•  Clear the DTC for the parking assist unit using the M-MDS.
•  Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 30 s or more.
•  Retrieve the parking assist unit DTCs using the M-MDS.
•  Is the same DTC displayed?
Yes
Using the M-MDS, perform the instrument cluster configuration (using As-Built data) again, then go to the next step.

No
Go to Step 5.
4
VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED
•  Clear the DTC for the parking assist unit using the M-MDS.
•  Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 30 s or more.
•  Retrieve the parking assist unit DTCs using the M-MDS.
•  Is the same DTC displayed?
Yes
Repeat the inspection from Step 1.
•  If the malfunction recurs, replace the parking assist unit.
No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED
•  Are any other DTCs displayed?
Yes
Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.

No
DTC troubleshooting completed.
