Detection condition

•  Configuration data of the parking assist unit and instrument cluster are not matched with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).

Detection condition	• Configuration data of the parking assist unit and instrument cluster are not matched with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).

Diagnostic Procedure

Step	Inspection		Action
1	VERIFY OTHER PARKING ASSIST UNIT DTCs • Clear the DTC for the parking assist unit using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [PARKING ASSIST UNIT].) • Retrieve the parking assist unit DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [PARKING ASSIST UNIT].) • Is DTC U3000:49 displayed?	Yes	Replace the parking assist unit, then go to the Step 4. (See PARKING ASSIST UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	VERIFY INSTRUMENT CLUSTER DTCs • Retrieve the instrument cluster DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER].) • Are any DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER].)
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	RESET INSTRUMENT CLUSTER CONFIGURATION DATA • Using the M-MDS, perform the instrument cluster configuration (using As-Built data). (See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER CONFIGURATION (USING AS-BUILT DATA).) • Clear the DTC for the parking assist unit using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [PARKING ASSIST UNIT].) • Retrieve the parking assist unit DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [PARKING ASSIST UNIT].) • Is the same DTC displayed?	Yes	Using the M-MDS, perform the instrument cluster configuration (using As-Built data) again, then go to the next step. (See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER CONFIGURATION (USING AS-BUILT DATA).)
3		No	Go to Step 5.
4	VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED • Clear the DTC for the parking assist unit using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [PARKING ASSIST UNIT].) • Retrieve the parking assist unit DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [PARKING ASSIST UNIT].) • Is the same DTC displayed?	Yes	Repeat the inspection from Step 1. • If the malfunction recurs, replace the parking assist unit. (See PARKING ASSIST UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
4		No	Go to the next step.
5	VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED • Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [PARKING ASSIST UNIT].)
5		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
