FRONT SEAT WARMER CONTROL UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Warning

•  Handling a front seat equipped with a side air bag improperly can accidentally operate (deploy) the air bag, which may seriously injure you. Read the service warnings/cautions in the Workshop Manual before handling the front seat (side air bag integrated). (See AIR BAG SYSTEM SERVICE WARNINGS.) (See AIR BAG SYSTEM SERVICE CAUTIONS.)

1.  Switch the ignition OFF (LOCK).

2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for 1 min. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)(See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].) 3.  Release the tab in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure using a remover tool.

4.  Remove the front seat warmer control unit in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure with the tab released.

5.  Disconnect the front seat warmer control unit connector.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
