KEYLESS RECEIVER INSPECTION

1.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Trunk covering (See TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(2)  Trunk board (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(3)  Trunk side pocket (See TRUNK SIDE POCKET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(4)  Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Pull back the trunk side upper trim (RH) to a position which allows for the removal of the keyless receiver. (See TRUNK SIDE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Pull back the trunk side trim (RH) to a position which allows for the removal of the keyless receiver. (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the keyless receiver with the connector still connected. (See KEYLESS RECEIVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Verify that the voltages of each of the terminals are as indicated in the terminal voltage table (reference).

•  If the voltage is not as specified in the terminal voltage table (reference), inspect the parts under Inspection item(s) and related wiring harnesses.
―  If the system does not operate normally even though the parts under Inspection Item(s) and related wiring harnesses do not have any malfunction, replace the keyless receiver.

1.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Rear scuff plate (RH) (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(2)  Rear seat cushion (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(3)  Rear seat side back (RH) (See REAR SEAT SIDE BACK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(4)  Tire house trim (RH) (See TIRE HOUSE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(5)  C-pillar trim (RH) (See C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Remove the keyless receiver with the connector still connected. (See KEYLESS RECEIVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Verify that the voltages of each of the terminals are as indicated in the terminal voltage table (reference).

•  If the voltage is not as specified in the terminal voltage table (reference), inspect the parts under Inspection item(s) and related wiring harnesses.
―  If the system does not operate normally even though the parts under Inspection Item(s) and related wiring harnesses do not have any malfunction, replace the keyless receiver.
