TURN LIGHT SYSTEM
id091800111900
Purpose
• The turn light system controls the turn lights to flash according to the turn switch operation.
Function
• The front body control module (FBCM) performs control as follows based on the turn switch LH or RH signal sent from the start stop unit via the CAN communication.
-
― Period of time turn switch on signal is received is less than 0.7 s: Controls the turn lights to flash 3 times automatically
― Period of time turn switch on signal is received is 0.7 s or more: Controls the turn lights to flash according to the reception period

Operation
1. When the turn switch is operated to the LH or RH position, a turn switch LH or RH signal is input to the start stop unit.
2. The start stop unit sends the turn switch LH or RH signal to the front body control module (FBCM) as a CAN communication.
3. When the front body control module (FBCM) receives the turn switch LH or RH signal, the turn light (LH) or (RH) flashes.
• If the front body control module (FBCM) receives a turn switch LH or RH signal from the start stop unit for less than 0.7 s while the engine is switched on (engine off or on), it controls the turn lights (LH) or (RH) to flash 3 times automatically.
• While the turn lights (LH) or (RH) are flashing 3 times automatically, if the front body control module (FBCM) receives a turn switch on signal for the opposite side, it cancels the current automatic flashing. However, if the turn switch on signal for the opposite side is received for
0.2 s or more, it controls the turn lights for that side while it is receiving the signal.
