Purpose

•  Notifies the Mazda ERA-GLONASS control module of the user's Mazda ERA-GLONASS switch operation.
•  The Mazda ERA-GLONASS switch notifies the user of the system operation status using the illumination/flashing pattern of the built-in indicator.

•  The indicator of the Mazda ERA-GLONASS switch is turned on/flashes in the pattern shown in the following table.

•  The indicators (green/red) are located on the Mazda ERA-GLONASS switch.

Operation

1.  When the Mazda ERA-GLONASS switch is operated, a switch operation signal is sent (1) to the Mazda ERA-GLONASS control module.

2.  When a Mazda ERA-GLONASS switch ON/OFF signal from the Mazda ERA-GLONASS switch is received, the Mazda ERA-GLONASS control module detects (2) an emergency call request from the user.
