DOOR-AJAR WARNING INDICATION/TRUNK LID-AJAR WARNING INDICATION (4SD)/LIFTGATE-AJAR WARNING INDICATION (WGN)

Purpose
• The door-ajar warning indication notifies the driver that any door is open.
• The trunk lid-ajar warning indication (4SD)/liftgate-ajar warning indication (WGN) notifies the driver that the trunk lid (4SD)/liftgate (WGN) is open.
Function
• When the instrument cluster receives any of the following signals sent from the rear body control module (RBCM) via the CAN signal, the door-ajar warning indication/trunk lid-ajar warning indication (4SD)/liftgate-ajar warning indication (WGN) is displayed.

― Trunk lid latch switch ON (trunk lid open) signal (4SD)
― Liftgate latch switch ON (liftgate open) signal (WGN)
Structure/Construction
• The door-ajar warning indication/trunk lid-ajar warning indication (4SD)/liftgate-ajar warning indication (WGN) is displayed in the multi-information display of the instrument cluster.
Operation
1. The instrument cluster receives (1) the door latch switch ON signal or trunk lid latch switch ON signal (4SD)/liftgate latch switch ON signal (WGN) from the rear body control module (RBCM).
2. When any received signal indicates that door/trunk lid (4SD)/liftgate (WGN) is open, the instrument cluster displays (2) the door-ajar warning indication/trunk lid-ajar warning indication (4SD)/liftgate-ajar warning indication (WGN) in the multi-information display of the instrument cluster.
