BOOST AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2]

Resistance Inspection
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)
2. Remove the front bumper. (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3. Remove the charge air cooler duct (RH). (See BOOST AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)
4. Disconnect the boost air temperature sensor connector. (See BOOST AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)
5. Remove the boost air temperature sensor. (See BOOST AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)
6. Place the boost air temperature sensor in water with a thermometer, and heat the water gradually.

7. Measure the resistance between boost air temperature sensor terminals A and B.
