Caution

•  If the retractor is disassembled, it will not operate correctly due to looseness and excessive play of the internal parts, therefore, do not disassemble the retractor.

1.  Switch the ignition to off.

2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for 1min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)(See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5 (WITHOUT i-stop)].)(See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)

3.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Rear seat cushion (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Rear seat side back (See REAR SEAT SIDE BACK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Tire house trim (See TIRE HOUSE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  C-pillar trim (See C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(6)  High-mount brake light (See HIGH-MOUNT BRAKE LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(7)  Rear package trim (See REAR PACKAGE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the fastener. (With rear buckle switch)

5.  Disconnect the connector. (With rear buckle switch)

6.  Remove the bolts.

7.  Remove the rear center seat belt with the rear buckle (LH).

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal. (See Rear Center Seat Belt Installation Note.)

•  The rear center seat belt is building into the rear seat back.

3.  Remove the rear seat cushion. (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the fastener. (With rear buckle switch)

5.  Disconnect the connector. (With rear buckle switch)

6.  Remove the bolt.

7.  Remove the rear seat back frame. (See REAR SEAT BACK FRAME REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

8.  Remove the rear center seat belt from the rear seat back frame.

9.  Install in the reverse order of removal. (See Rear Center Seat Belt Installation Note.)

Rear Center Seat Belt Installation Note

1.  After installing the rear center seat belt, place it as shown in the figure.
