Height Difference Adjustment

1.  Verify that the height difference between the bonnet and the body is within the specification.

Standard clearance
a: 2.5—6.1 mm {0.10—0.24 in}
b: 2.4—4.4 mm {0.10—0.17 in}

2.  Loosen bolts and adjust the bonnet.

3.  Tighten bolts. (See BONNET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)


Gap Adjustment

1.  Verify that the gap between the bonnet and the body is within the specification.

Standard clearance
a: -2.0—2.0 mm {-0.078—0.078 in}
b: -1.0—1.0 mm {-0.039—0.039 in}

2.  Turn the stopper rubber to adjust the height of the bonnet.
