Instrument cluster configuration not implemented

Detection condition

•  The adaptive LED headlights control module received a signal which indicates the instrument cluster configuration is not performed.

Fail-safe

•  When the setting is on using the personalization feature and there is no record at the previous operation, control is continued at the value specified by the adaptive LED headlight control module.

•  Control of the headlight auto leveling system is continued.

Note

•  To correctly write the configuration data sent from the instrument cluster to the adaptive LED headlights control module, 30 s or more have to be elapsed since the ignition is switched ON (engine off or on).

•  Instrument cluster configuration is not completed.

•  Adaptive LED headlights control module malfunction

Diagnostic Procedure

Step	Inspection		Action
1	RESET CONFIGURATION DATA FROM INSTRUMENT CLUSTER TO ADAPTIVE LED HEADLIGHTS CONTROL MODULE • Clear the adaptive LED headlights control module DTCs using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [ADAPTIVE LED HEADLIGHTS CONTROL MODULE].) • Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 30 s or more. • Perform the DTC inspection for the adaptive LED headlights control module using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [ADAPTIVE LED HEADLIGHTS CONTROL MODULE].) • Is the DTC U2300:55 displayed?	Yes	Replace the adaptive LED headlights control module, then go to the next step. (See ADAPTIVE LED HEADLIGHTS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED • Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [ADAPTIVE LED HEADLIGHTS CONTROL MODULE].)
2		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
