Purpose, Function

•  The charging system warning light/warning indication warns the driver of a charging system malfunction.

Construction

•  The charging system warning indication is displayed in the multi-information display. (With multi-information display) (See MULTI-INFORMATION DISPLAY.)
•  The charging system warning light is built into the instrument cluster. (See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER.)

Operation

•  Displays the charging system warning indication/turns on the charging system warning light when a malfunction occurs in the charging system and a DTC is stored in the PCM.
•  For vehicles equipped with the center display, a warning message is displayed in the center display at the same time the charging system warning light is turned on/charging system warning indication is displayed. For the message content and verification method, refer to [CENTER DISPLAY]. (See CENTER DISPLAY [WITH CENTER DISPLAY].)
